Kris Jenner Opens Up About Getting “Really Sick” From Ozempic

Kris Jenner has never hidden her approach to beauty, health, and aging. From cosmetic treatments to wellness habits, the reality star and businesswoman has often spoken openly about the steps she takes to feel confident. During a recent appearance on the SHE MD Podcast, Jenner shared a personal health experience that quickly caught attention — her difficult reaction to Ozempic and the alternative that worked better for her lifestyle.

While speaking with podcast hosts Dr. Thais Aliabadi and Mary Alice Haney, Jenner revealed that she tried Ozempic long before the medication became widely discussed online. The drug, commonly linked to weight loss and diabetes management, did not suit her body at all.

“I tried it once when no one knew what it was and it made me really sick,” Jenner said during the interview.

The side effects became intense enough that she contacted her doctor soon after taking it. “I can’t work anymore. I’m so sick,” she recalled saying at the time. According to Jenner, the nausea made daily activities difficult, so the treatment was immediately ruled out.

The Alternative Routine That Worked for Her

After stepping away from Ozempic, Jenner and her doctor explored other wellness options. She explained that peptide injections became the solution that fit her needs better. “I realised that a peptide injection was really great for me,” she shared on the podcast.

Jenner also added fish oil and omega-3 supplements to her daily routine. The changes were not only connected to weight management. She noticed a visible improvement in her energy levels, especially during the evening hours.

The 70-year-old admitted that she normally feels exhausted after work calls or family dinners. However, the updated routine helped her stay active for a few extra hours at night instead of immediately going to bed.

The conversation briefly shifted toward Jenner’s facelift in 2025, a topic that generated heavy public discussion. She addressed it casually and joked, “I had a very well-known facelift a year ago. So that was helpful.”

In an earlier interview with Vogue Arabia, Jenner explained that cosmetic procedures are a personal choice connected to confidence and self-image. She stated that becoming “the best version” of herself simply makes her happy.

Jenner’s latest interview offered a direct look at how differently wellness treatments can affect individuals. While Ozempic worked poorly for her, peptide injections and supplements became a more comfortable option. Her comments also reflected a growing conversation around personalized health choices, aging, and the reality behind celebrity wellness trends.
